Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support services to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic medical care, such as monitoring vital signs and administering medication under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
- Valid CNA certification or Home Health Aide certification.
- Previous experience in home healthcare or a similar setting preferred.
- CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
